My Everyday Accessories

Hey cupcakes!! Today I will talking about the accessories I normally wear on an everyday basis. I am a student, so I am quite busy during the day. I usually pick accessories that are simple and go with my outfit. This includes:

1. An infinity scarf if it matches my clothes for the day
2. Stud earrings (I usually always wear simple diamond ones)
3. A cute necklace (depends on the day but usually a heart)
4. My black crossbody purse
5. If my hair is up, I might throw on a bow! :)

Review: Essie Plumberry Nail Polish

Hey cupcakes! Today I will be doing a review for Essie's Plumberry nail polish color!!! :) I was looking through Walgreens the other day, and this caught my eye in the clearance section. Essie nail polishes are normally $8 and this was only $2! I had to pick it up!!! After trying this nail polish, it is my new favorite color! The polish is amazing and dries in like 1 minute all the way through, so you don't have to worry about it smudging ten minutes after you put it on! The color is a deep pinky red, so it is adorable almost all year long! I have had it on my nails for a few days now and so far there have not been any chips :) I totally suggest picking this shade up!!!!!

My Top 5 Makeup Brushes

My Top 5 Makeup Brushes

Hey cupcakes! This post is dedicated to my top 5 makeup brushes!!! I use more than 5 brushes, but I decided to pick my favorite ones that are essential to my makeup routine!
  1. Powder brush - This brush makes my face look perfect and non oily by applying powder evenly on my face
  2. Eye shadow brush - This is KEY to a good eye look because it allows you to get shadow on the lid, crease, and corners
  3. Some type of beauty blender - This is a must for good looking foundation!
  4. Concealer brush - If you tend to have zits or red areas like me, a concealer brush is essential!!!
  5. Lash and brow brush - This allows your eyebrows to be brushed before makeup is put on them, so they stay all day :)

Movie Review: The DUFF

Release date: Feb. 20th, 2015

Rating: PG-13

Last night I went and saw The DUFF in theaters. I had seen the trailer on YouTube, and it looked like a pretty funny movie. It was surprisingly pretty good! There were some hilarious scenes in this movie, and it reminded me of Mean Girls and other chick flicky movies. The high school setting was very modern and was not that different from a high school in real life. The excessive use of cell phones, bullying, cliches, sex, and swearing in American high schools was revealed in this movie, but it used satire to do this. The only thing I did not like about the movie was that it brought the word DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) into pop culture, which could lead to more bullying in schools. Hopefully, this does not happen... Overall, I thought it was a good teen movie that was funny yet serious too. You should totally go check it out!

What do you think of the film? Comment below!!!!!! <3

My Most Embarrassing Stories

Hey, cupcakes!! Everybody embarrasses themselves in some sort of way right? I personally enjoy reading embarrassing stories online that happen to other people, and I am not ashamed to say that I have had some pretty embarrassing and awkward things happen to me.... Today I will be sharing with you a few of my stories!!!!
  1. My First Kiss -My first kiss was pretty embarrassing not gonna lie... My date and I were standing on my front door step after seeing a movie, and I was like super nervous because I had never kissed anyone before. We ended up kissing and after we stopped I blurted out, "Awkward" before I could stop myself. It made us both feel uncomfortable :P
  2. Bathroom Adventures - I tend to do weird things with my family like sing around the house, dance in odd places, etc. One time I was at a restaurant, and my sister and I went to use the bathroom. There was a kiddie stool tucked under the sink, so to be funny I pulled it out and stood on it wash my hands. Halfway through the washing, a random lady came out of her stall and gave me quite the look... It was pretty embarrassing!
  3. Third Grade Troubles - When I was in third grade, we did some activities with senior citizens in our town. After one of these activities, I thought I saw my senior citizen partner in the doorway of the classroom, so I brought my mother over to meet her. Turns out my friend's grandmother looked like my 80 year old partner, and it was super embarrassing!
I hope you enjoy! Feel free to comment down below your most embarrassing story! This is a #nojudgementzone! <3 <3

Review: Precisso Beauty Blending Sponge

Hey cupcakes! Today I will be reviewing the Precisso Beauty Blending Sponge!!! I have been interested in trying the infamous beauty blender for a long time now. However, I just can't seem to fork over the $20 for it when there are tons of other similar sponges for cheaper prices. The Precisso Beauty Blending Sponge caught my eye the other day at Kohl's, so I decided to purchase it. It was originally $6, but it was on sale for $4.50. This sponge is awesome! I usually do not wear foundation on a daily basis, but I have been wearing it every day since I got this sponge because it works so well. It blends my foundation sooooo perfectly! I apply some foundation on the back of my hand, and then use the sponge to apply/blend to my face. It makes my skin look flawless and smooth, you should totally try it out!

How to Get Perfect Winged Eyeliner

How to Get Perfect Winged Eyeliner

Hey, cupcakes! Most every girl wants to know how to get perfect winged/cat eye eyeliner, so here are a few of my tips! I just recently mastered the winged eyeliner, so I will tell you my best strategies for getting the perfect look! Enjoy! :)
  1.  Use a pen liquid eyeliner (like the one pictured above). These are by far the easiest to use!
  2. Line your eye as usual. I normally line my eye before attempting the wing.
  3. Create the wing - Use the middle image as a guide! I find the first step easiest if you pull the corner of your eye up towards your eyebrow; this creates a nice winged line to follow!
  4. If you mess up, use a Q-tip to take the makeup off and try again! Practice makes perfect!!!
I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment below if you have any other tips!!!! :) <3 <3
