D.I.Y. Iron Transfer Shirt!

I am obsessed with Olaf from Frozen. Phew I said it! ;) I have wanted an Olaf shirt for soooooo long now but I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money on the $25 one from the Hot Topic Disney Collection. So, I decided to DIY one myself! Here is how you make a super simple iron on transfer shirt:

  1. Buy a shirt, tank top, bag, etc. from a craft store or clothing store.
  2. Buy some iron on transfer sheets at Walmart, a craft store, etc. These can be expensive so try to use a coupon or find them on sale! (I got a package of 3 sheets on sale for only $3!)
  3. Find the image you want to put on your shirt. I recommend printing out the image in grayscale a few times to get the size perfect!
  4. Once you find the perfect size, put the transfer paper in your printer and print!
  5. Follow the rest of the instructions for your particular type of transfer paper. For the brand I used you had to cut out the design, peel away the back, and then iron on with an iron. Super easy!
  6. Ta-da! A cute shirt!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Don't be afraid to try a new DIY! I was a little scared to do the iron on transfers because it looked too difficult, but it was extremely easy and fun! Just MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and your shirt will turn out perfect every time! :) Here is the Olaf image I used on my shirt:

How I Make Money As a High Schooler

Many people are looking to make easy money right? Well, this post is going to be dedicated to how I (as a high school student) makes some extra cash! Hope you enjoy!

1. Survey sites:

I currently use four different survey sites. These sites are super easy to use and in exchange for taking surveys, you get cash sent to your Paypal or to your home by check! Here are the links to the sites I use and trust:

Opinion Outpost: LINK
This site has some fun surveys that you receive points for. After getting 100 points you get $10 to your Paypal! :)

PaidViewpoint: LINK
This site has quick surveys that you get money for completing. You must get $15 before you can cash out though!

Survey Savvy: LINK
This site is my least favorite of the four because there aren't many surveys you can take. This sends you the money by check.

Instant Cash Sweepstakes: LINK
You can complete 5 surveys every 3 hours and you can win cash! It is just like playing games! This pays by PayPal.

2. Selling books:
There is a book store where I live that guys used books. For someone who has soooooo many books, I have made quite a bit of money back by selling them to this store. Check around to bookstores near you that might buy used books!

3. Extra Work/Odd Jobs:
My parents pay me to do things like weed, clean the cars, etc. They only pay me $5 an hour but it is still money I didn't have! Check to see if your family or neighbors have odd jobs that you can do! :)

4. Babysitting:
Babysitting is a very easy way to make money! You also get to meet some pretty awesome kids!!!!! ;)

5. Save money:
I like to save the money and gift cards I receive for my birthday and Christmas! It's not really a way to make money but you do get the money by saving it. :)

If you have other ways to make money, please comment below!!!!!! :)

Summer Craft: Bleached Shirt!

I saw this adorable idea on Pinterest and I had to try it out!!!!! I went to rue21 and found an adorable shirt for only $3! I didn't want to use an actual tshirt because I never wear them. Then I made a stencil of a dinosaur, placed it on the shirt, and sprayed the bleach around it! After the shirt is the color you want, take the stencil off, rinse the shirt off with cold water, and throw in the dryer. Enjoy your new shirt!!!!!!!! :)

Top 5 Tips for Prom

Prom season is almost here!!!!!! I decided to make a post devoted to my top 5 tips to make your night AMAZING! :)

1. Go with someone you WILL have fun with! I know a lot of people want to find a date, but sometimes you might have more fun if you just go with a group of your friends! If your date is a downer, your night won't be as fun.

2. Dress for success! Make sure your prom dress is hemmed perfectly, fits correctly, etc. so you don't have to worry about a fashion fail the night of. Make sure you have your shoes, your makeup, and your hairstyle picked out wayyy before the actual dance so getting ready won't be a struggle!

3. Save money! Find your dress at a thrift store, don't buy the most expensive flower, or do your own hair and makeup! Some people think prom is a waste of money and don't go. Be wise with your money so you can have a great time without breaking the bank!

4. Be classy! Don't grind at prom- YUCK! Prom is a formal (therefore classy) dance. Act like a princess please!

5. Set up a fun after prom party! Go to someone's house to watch a movie, play games, have a bonfire, etc. It can be small or large - whatever will be the most fun for you!

HAVE FUN! Comment down below all of your favorite moments or memories from prom! :) <3

Movie Review: Son of God

Director: Christopher Spencer

Released: 28 February 2014

Rating: PG-13

I went and saw this a few weeks after it was released in theaters because my youth group wanted to all go together and see it. I looked at the reviews before I went (to see if it was any good) and most people didn't rate it very well. However, after seeing this movie, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! I am a very devout Christian and this was the first movie that actually made me cry. The Crucifixion scene just struck a chord in me and tears just kept streaming down my face. Many of my youth group members said that it was executed as well as The Passion of the Christ, but I haven't seen that movie so I can't really compare the two. Overall, the movie was very accurate with what the Bible says. I know that some minor things weren't right, and they could have added more stuff, but for a 138 minute movie, they did a FANTASTIC job. I highly recommend this movie to anybody who hasn't seen it yet! :) If you have, what are your thoughts on the movie?
